The purpose of this letter is to certify that the project proposed by Wisconsin DNR <br /> fisheries biologist Dan Oele will be in compliance with NR 116 as well as Dane County's Floodplain Zoning <br /> Ordinance. The proposed fill areas south of Bellbrook Road are not within the mapped floodplain. The proposed <br /> fill on the north side of Bellbrook Road and a portion of the borrow site are both within the same mapped Zone A <br /> floodplain. The approximate fill volume required on the north side of the road is 1500 cubic yards. The cut <br /> volume to be removed from the borrow site within the mapped floodplain will be at least 1500 cubic yards at an <br /> absolute minimum. <br /> The proposed project will not obstruct the flow of flood waters and will not increase the base flood elevation. <br /> Therefore, I hereby certify that my review of this proposed project shows it will meet the standards of NR 116 and <br /> the Dane County floodplain ordinance. <br /> If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> gZ =� c.. �z —mil <br /> Robert R.
