A zoning permit <br /> inspection was conducted on January 17, 2018. It was observed that a detached shed had been built on <br /> your property at 584 Juedes Lane without the start of construction of a single family residence. <br /> Under Dane County Code of Ordinance section 10.04(1)(b)1. a principal residential use must exist or be <br /> under construction prior to the erection or placement of an accessory building. <br /> Under Dane County Code of Ordinance section 10.25(2)(i) a permit issued pursuant to the provisions of <br /> this section shall expire one year from the date of issuance if construction is not started within that time <br /> and will expire if construction once started does not diligently proceed to completion within two years <br /> starting time. <br /> This letter serves as notice that your property at 584 Juedes Lane is in violation of the ordinance. A <br /> single family residence is not under construction prior to the placement of an accessory building on the <br /> property. Also, construction of a single family residence for Dane County zoning permit number DCPZP- <br /> 2017-00005 has not been started within one year of issuance, and the zoning permit has therefore been <br /> rendered null and void. <br /> You are hereby instructed to obtain a new zoning permit for a single family residence within 30 days of <br /> the date of this letter. <br /> If the violation is not corrected within the 30-day time period, citations will be issued for each day in <br /> violation. <br /> Your cooperation is appreciated in this matter. <br /> Sincerely, <br /> Sarah Johnson,johnson.sarah @countyofdane.com, 608-267-3960, Zoning Inspector, County of Dane <br /> CC: Town Clerk <br />
