Attachments: WEA property.pdf Hi Troy, I wanted to catch up with you on the WEA trust property and find out where you're at in terms of changing the zoning the zoning request to B-1. I also wanted to detail the issues we've discovered with the various tax parcels comprising the WEA properties. Below is a listing of the parcels owned by either WEA or WEA Insurance Trust (there are several shown as"WEA Insurance Trust", and several unimproved parcels shown as"Wisconsin Education Association Insurance Trust", but I think that's a distinction without a difference). The list includes the size, legal description "type" (CSM or metes& bounds), and current use. Ideally,we'd like to see these all cleaned up so that the parcels are zoned appropriately for the use(s) and also consolidated together in the proposed 2 lot CSM. WEA Insurance Trust Parcels: 070936190406= 3.306 acres (metes& bounds; zoned C-2; use= parking lot) 070936188302 = .287 acres (metes & bounds; zoned C-2; use = parking lot) 070936196750= 12.34 acres (lot 1 CSM 11532; zoned B-1 & C-2; WEA Insurance buildings & parking lot) (subject of current rezone petition) Wisconsin Education Association Insurance Trust Parcels: 070936194457= .37 acres(metes& bounds; zoned C-1; use= unimproved/open space?) 070936194359= .186 acres (metes & bounds; zoned B-1; use = unimproved/open space?) 070936193252= .194 acres (metes& bounds; zoned C-1; use = unimproved/open space?) 070936194251= .308 acres(metes& bounds; zoned B-1; use= unimproved/open space?) 070936193305= 10 acres(metes& bounds; zoned B-1 &C-1; use=open space) Wisconsin Education Association Parcels: 070936195714= 20.79 acres(lot 1 CSM 5801; zoned B-1, C-1, and C-2; WEA building, parking lot, and open space) (subject of current rezone petition) Attached is a map showing the parcels and zoning of the property. Ideally, we'd like to see things cleaned up so that the property is zoned appropriately for the use(s) and all portions of the property consolidated together in the proposed 2 lot CSM. B-1 and/or C-1 zoning across both lots would be appropriate. Please let me know what you think. As it stands, the petition is not on the 7/22 ZLR meeting agenda since we've not yet resolved the question of the appropriate zoning categories or cleaning up the other remnant tax parcels.
