As stated in the previous letter, <br /> we propose using this design for the construction of the deck at grade. As you can see, the <br /> decking is spaced to allow any rain or snow melt to drain through the deck into a pervious sub <br /> base of rock. Based on the Blettners' experience, this design is quite permeable.
