We have field verified the topographic <br /> information and determined that the lowest adjacent grade near the house is 865.40 and near the <br /> deck is 865.05. The FIS study included with this packet shows the "F" cross section running <br /> directly through this house. Therefore, determining the Base Flood Elevation was simply the "F' <br /> elevation of 862.9. Attached is a site map showing the location of our elevation readings. Per <br /> the owner's request we have filled out he proper forms and included them with this letter in order <br /> to officially remove this structure from the flood plain.
