Bluebook Survey Volume 4, Page 322. <br />- In April 1866, John Douglus marked two witness trees while working in <br />Section 17. Bluebook Survey Volume 4, Page 322. <br />- On April 22, 1898, W.L. Marcy found Barton's stone to be about 1 ft. too far <br />north of location from U.S.B.T.S and Douglus bearing trees.
