Coryell set a limestone in the side of the highway 50 links north and 50 <br />links south while working in Sections 28. Bluebook Survey Volume 2, Pages 273. <br />- On October 14, 1891, M.C. Dodge found the stump of a U.S.B.T. and what happened to be <br />the old stake while working in Section 29. Bluebook Survey Volume 4, Page 346. <br />- On April 25, 1972, Thom Grenlie set a railroad spike from field evidence and measurements. <br />Monument Reference Sheet. <br />- On June 20, 1985, Ronald Williamson found the railroad spike set by Grenlie and drove a 11/4" <br />iron pipe above it in the road surface. Monument Reference Sheet. <br />- On January 12, 1994, Carl Sandsnes found the 11/4" iron pipe set by Williamson and drove a <br />3/4" iron rod with a Dane County Section corner cap inside of it. Sandsnes established new <br />witness ties. Monument Reference Sheet. <br />- On August 3, 2017, Gary Hubbs found the Dane County Section corner cap and witness ties <br />per tie sheet by Carl Sandsnes.
