.1629959 1:1 <br />LAND CONTRACT- <br />VOL 146 PAGE 81 <br />THIS AGREEMENT, made and concluded this 7th day of October, <br />1937, by and between Piper Brothers Company, a Wisconsin corpora- <br />tion, VENDORS, and B. A. Beach, of Madison, Wisconsin, PURCHASER, <br />WITNESSETH: <br />1. The purchaser hereby agree;s,and binds himself, his legal <br />representatives, to pay or cause to be paid to the vendor, its <br />legal representatives or assigns, the sum of One Thousand Five <br />Hundred Eight Dollars ($1508.00) in the manner following: the sum <br />of $150.00 at the ensealing and delivery hereof and the balance to <br />be paid at the rate of $25.00 or more per month, the first payment <br />to be made on the 10th day of October, 1937, and on the 10th day of <br />August Sept. <br />each month thereafter, excepting the months of and xkug 7st of <br />each year, during which months no payment on principal need be made <br />the whole of the unpaid purchase price, however, to become due and <br />not later than <br />payable jfive years from October 10, 1937. All unpaid balances shal <br />bear interest at the rate of 6% per annum to be computed and payabl <br />semi - annually upon the unpaid balance of principal existing at the <br />beginning of the six months period for which the interest is <br />computed; such interest shall be paid in addition to the monthly <br />payments herein provided for. <br />2. The said payments are to be made to the vendor at their <br />office at 114 East Mifflin Street, Madison, Wisconsin, and <br />3. The same being intended to apply, when fully completed, <br />as the purchase money for the following described tract: <br />Commencing at a point on the centerline of Orchard Drive$ <br />which point is 40 rods south of the intersection of the centers of <br />the public highways known as the Speedway Road. and Orchard Drive, <br />said intersection being 664 feet westof the northeast corner of <br />the northwest quarter of Section 29, Town 7 North, Range 9 East; <br />Town of Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, said starting point being <br />the Northeast corder of land now owned by grantee; thence west at <br />right angles to centerline of said Orchard Drive 330 feet along the <br />north lime of land now owned by grantee; thence north 306.24 feet <br />parallel with centerline of said Orchard Drive; thence east at <br />right angles to the said last course 330 feet to centerline of said <br />05ch rd Drive; thence south along centerline of said Orchard Drive <br />to place of beginning, <br />being Lots Two and Three, Block Two, Oak Park Subdivision, th <br />same being'a proposed plat, copy of which is in the office of Bull, <br />Biart & Bieberstein, and identified by writing thereon, to -wit: <br />
