j i Chapter 11 <br /> 11.015 DEFINITIONS. As used in this chapter,the . <br /> CHAPTER 11 following words and phrases have. the meanings <br /> indicated: <br /> Shoreland, Shoreland-Wetland and Inland- (1) Board of Adjustment. The body established <br /> Wetland Regulations under Chapter 59.99, Wisconsin Statutes, for <br /> 1 counties and designated"board of adjustment." <br /> 11.01 Dane County Shoreland, Shoreland- (2) Boathouse. A building for the storage of <br /> — Wetland,Inland- Wetland and Flood boats, canoes and other water craft and their <br /> Plain Management. . accessories. <br /> 11.02 Shoreland District. (3) Channel. A channel is a natural or artificial <br /> 11.03 Shoreland Regulations. watercourse with definite bed and banks to confine <br /> 11.04 Shore Cover. and conduct the normal flow of water. <br /> 11.05 Filling, Grading, Lagooning, Dredging (4) Department of Natural Resources The <br /> and Excavating Ditching. department of natural resources of the State of <br /> - 11.06 Shoreland-Wetland and Inland Wetland Wisconsin, <br /> Districts. (5) Development. One or more artificial <br /> - Wetland and Inland-Wetland Districts. ditches, tile drains or similar devices which collect <br /> surface runoff or groundwater and convey it to a <br /> Flood Plain Regulations point of discharge. <br /> (7) Land Use. Any "development" as defined in <br /> f ' 11.11 Statutory Authorization, Finding of Fact, 11.21(i). <br /> l Statement of Purpose and Title. (8) Non-Conforming Structure. An existing lawful <br /> 11.12 General Provisions. structure or building which is not in conformity with <br /> 11.13 Regional Floodway District (FW). the provisions of the applicable zoning ordinance for <br /> 11.14 Regional Flood Fringe District(FF). the area which it occupies. <br /> 11.15 General Flood Plain District (GFP).
