DANE COUNTY CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> CHAPTER 12 <br /> ZONING DEPARTMENT FEES <br /> - REVISED FEES - EFFECTIVE: 12/13/86. - <br /> L2.01 Title: This Chapter may be cited as the Dane County Zoning Fee Ordinance. =` <br /> 12.02 Authority: This Chapter is enacted under the authority of s 59.07 (16) , (16m) and ``• <br /> (68) Wis. Stats. s ' ' <br /> 12.03 For construction of new single family and duplex residences the fee shall be$10.00 plus <br /> each square foot of floor area including basements and attached garages. <br /> Measurements to be made using outside dimensions. When computed the amount shall be <br /> to the nearest dollar. <br /> xY` <br /> 12.04 The following fee schedule is established for all new construction, alterations and 4},, <br /> additions to existing buildings and buildings used for agricultural purposes that be- <br /> cause of locational requirements a Board of Adjustment permit is required, except as <br /> provided in Section 12.03: . . }'' <br /> $30.00 plus $1.00 for each $1,000 or fraction thereof of construction costs. <br /> Cost of construction shill include the cost of mechanical equipment; but not including <br /> cost of manufacturing or processing equipment or machinery, site preparation, sewage <br /> disposal systems, utility lines and landscaping. <br /> Permit Fees: <br /> (a) Mineral extraction permits $ 75.00 ); <br /> (b) Permits to place fill, grade or excavate in a flood plain area $ 40.00 . <br /> .a• <br /> (c) Petitions to amend the zoning ordinance $ 75.00 <br /> Applications for conditional use permits and special exception permits,. $ 65.00 +.° ' <br /> (e) Applications for variances $ 65.00 <br /> Certificates of compliance for buildings constructed prior to August 20, 1970 <br /> and all other certificates provided for in Chapter 10 $ 5.00 <br /> (g) Salvage yard licenses and 'renewals $ 20.00 <br /> (h) Advertising signs $ 50.00 <br /> (i) Directory signs, directional signs for privately owned places and on-premise '. <br /> signs $ 25.00 r• x <br /> (j) Petitions to amend the zoning ordinance and applications for conditional use I ' <br /> permits filed jointly for the same parcel of land $110.00 <br /> (k) For each Zoning Certificate, Wisconsin Farmland Preservation Act $ 10.00 <br /> a farm is located in two townships and two certificates are required, .-. <br /> only one fee shall be charged. <br /> L2.06 Exemptions From Fees: '* <br /> (a) Petitions to amend the text of the ordinances when filed by a County Board Supervisor. <br /> f <br /> (b) Petitions to amend the zoning maps, applications for conditional use permits, special <br /> permits and variances if the land is owned by a municipality and the govern- <br /> ing body submits the petition or application. <br /> (c) Zoning permits for municipally owned buildings. <br /> (d) Permits for construction or maintenance of farm drainage ditches and soil conservation <br /> practices in a flood plain area. <br /> (e) One a onetime basis, a town board may petition to amend its zoning district maps for the 1' <br /> purpose of implementing its land use plan without the necessity of a filing fee. Itn <br /> shall be the responsibility of the town board to notify owners of land that will be <br /> affected by.the proposed change in the zoning district boundaries. <br /> 73 <br />
