• <br /> A-2 (4) = Minimum 4 acres. <br /> A-2 (8) = Minimum 8 acres. <br /> A-2 = Minimum 16 acres. <br /> [EXPLANATION: This amendment classifies lots in the A-2 Agriculture District by size;this action then relates <br /> to determining what is permitted in lots in this district.] <br /> ARTICLE 45: As renumbered, section 10.126(5)(b) is amended to read as follows: • <br /> (b) Keeping of Livestock: <br /> 1. On parcels of less than 2 acres the keeping of livestock is not <br /> permitted. <br /> 2. On parcels of less than 3 acres through 16 acres livestock shall be <br /> limited to 1 animal unit per each full acre. <br /> 3. On parcels of more than 16 acres, no limit to the number of <br /> livestock. <br /> [EXPLANATION: This amendment specifies the number of livestock permitted on various lot sizes in this <br /> district.] <br /> ARTICLE 46: Sub-subsections (d) and (e) of section 10.126(5) are created to read as follows: <br /> (d) For residential uses the lot width and area shall be the same as for the R-1 Residence District. <br /> (e) For other permitted uses, there shall be no minimum width or area except for those uses for which <br /> special setback and sideyard requirements have been established. <br /> [EXPLANATION: This amendment clarifies what is intended for residences in this district.] <br /> ARTICLE 47: As renumbered, section 10.126(6) is amended to read as follows: <br /> (6) "Setback requirements". No building, including barns and other farm buildings of any description <br /> whatsoever, shall be erected, moved or structurally altered so as to be nearer the highway than is prescribed <br /> by section 10.17. <br /> [EXPLANATION: This amendment clarifies what is intended for setback requirements in this district.] <br /> ARTICLE 48: As renumbered, section 10.126(7) is amended to read as follows: <br /> (7) Side yard requirements. (a) Side yards for residential dwellings and residential accessory buildings shall <br /> be the same as for the R-1 Residence District. <br /> (b) Accessory buildings, cages, kennels, hives and runs for housing of animals or insects shall be located <br /> at least 100 feet from a R-1, R-2, R-3, R-3A or R-4 Residence District. <br /> [EXPLANATION: This amendment clarifies what is intended for side yard requirements in this district.] <br /> ARTICLE 49: As renumbered, section 10.126(8) is amended to read as follows: <br /> (8) (a) Rear yards for residential dwellings and residential accessory buildings shall be the same as for the <br /> R-1 Residence District. <br /> (b) Accessory buildings, cages, kennels, hives and runs for housing of animals or insects shall be located <br /> at least 100 feet from a R-1, R-2, R-3, R-3A or R-4 Residence District. <br /> [EXPLANATION: This amendment clarifies what is intended for rear yard requirements in this district.] <br /> ARTICLE 50: Section 10.127(8) is amended to read as follows: <br /> (8) Rear Yard Requirements.
