(2) "Apartment signs" shall have a maximum size of 32 square feet and be <br /> erected to a height not to exceed 8 feet. Such signs shall be located on the <br /> site advertised on the sign. Not more than one such sign is permitted for an <br /> apartment complex. <br /> (3) "Auxiliary signs" shall have a maximum size of 5 square feet and be <br /> erected to a height not to exceed 4 feet, with a total copy area not to exceed <br /> 50 square feet. Such signs shall be located on the site advertised on the <br /> r- sign. <br /> (4) "Crop signs" shall have a maximum size of 3 square feet and be erected to <br /> a height not to exceed 10 feet. Such signs shall be located not less than 50 <br /> feet from the site advertised on the sign and there shall not be more than one <br /> such sign per row of crop. <br /> (5) "Ground on—premise signs" shall have a maximum size of 32 square feet <br /> where the speed limit on the adjacent highway is 35 miles per hour or less, 64 <br /> square feet where the maximum permissible speed on the adjacent highway is <br /> between 36 and 45 miles per hour, and 96 square feet where the speed limit on <br /> the adjacent highway is more than 45 miles per hour. Such a sign may be <br /> erected to a height not to exceed 12 feet where the speed limit on the <br /> adjacent highway is 35 miles per hour or less, 16 feet where the speed limit <br /> on the adjacent highway is between 36 and 45 miles per hour, and 20 feet where <br /> the speed limit on the adjacent highway is more then 45 miles kper hour. <br /> There shall be no more than one such sign for each road frontage and the'sign <br /> shall be located not more than 200 feet from the site advertised on the sign. <br /> (6) "Billboards" shall have a maximum size of 300 square feet and be erected <br /> to a height not to exceed 35 feet abovethe centerline of the adjacent highway <br /> at the location of the sign, with a minimum distance of 300 feet between signs <br /> and a total copy area not to exceed 300 square feet per sign. <br /> (7) "Construction signs" shall have a maximum size of 64 square feet and, be <br /> erected to a height not to exceed 12 feet. Such signs shall be located on <br /> site, with no more than one such sign on the site's road frontage. <br /> (8) "Development signs" shall have a maximum size of 32 square feet where the <br /> speed limit on the adjacent highway is 35 miles per hour or less, 64 square <br /> feet where the maximum permissible speed on the adjacent highway is between 36 <br /> and 45 miles per hour, and 96 'square feet where the speed limit on the <br /> adjacent highway is more than 45 miles per hour. Such a sign may be erected <br /> to a height not to exceed 10 feet where the speed limit on the adjacent <br /> highway is 35 miles per hour or less, 15 feet where the speed limit on the <br /> adjacent highway is between 36 and 45 miles per hour, and 20 feet where the <br /> speed limit on the adjacent highway is more than 45 miles per hour. Such <br /> signs shall be located on the site advertised and not less than .25-miles from <br /> other signs. <br /> (9) "Directory signs" shall have a maximum size of 96 square feet and be <br /> erected to a height not to exceed 35 feet above the centerline of the adjacent <br /> highway at the location of the sign, with a total copy area not to exceed 96 <br /> square feet. Such signs shall be located not less than .25 miles from other <br /> signs and not more than 5 miles from the site advertised on the sign. <br />
