Such a sign may be erected to a height not to exceed 8 feet where the speed <br /> limit on the adjacent highway is 35 miles per hour or. less, 15 feet where the <br /> speed limit on the adjacent highway is between 36 and 45 miles per hour, and <br /> 20 feet where the speed limit on the adjacent highway is more than 45 miles <br /> per hour. There shall be no more than one such sign for each road frontage <br /> and the sign shall be located on the site advertised on the sign. <br /> (21) "Subdivision signs" shall have a maximum size of 64 square feet and be <br /> erected to a height not to exceed 10 feet. Such signs shall be located on the <br /> ti site advertised on the sign, with no more than one such sign per entrance to <br /> the site. <br /> f <br /> (22) "Temporary signs" shall have a maximum size of 64 square feet and be <br /> erected to a height not to exceed 12 feet. There shall be no more than one <br /> such sign per parcel and the sign shall be located on the site advertised on <br /> the sign. <br /> (23) "Wall signs" shall have a maximum size of 100 square feet together with <br /> a maximum copy area of 200 square feet where the speed limit on the adjacent <br /> highway is 35 miles per hour or less, 200 square feet together with a maximum <br /> copy area of 400 square feet where the maximum permissible speed on the <br /> 11', adjacent highway is between 36 and 45 miles per hour, and 300 square feet <br /> together with a maximum copy area of 600 square feet where the speed limit on <br /> { the adjacent highway is more than 45 miles per hour. Such a sign shall be <br /> erected to a height not to exceed 20 feet where the speed limit on the <br /> adjacent highway is 35 miles per hour or less, 35 feet where the speed limit <br /> on the adjacent highway is between 36 and 45 miles per hour, and 50 feet where <br /> the speed limit on the adjacent highway is more than 45 miles per hour. There <br /> ii shall be no more than two such signs per buildings and each such sign shall be <br /> located on the building containing the business advertised on the sign. <br /> 10.75 CALCULATION OF HEIGHT REGULATIONS. (1) "Auxiliary signs" for service <br /> station prices may not be installed higher than 8 feet above ground level. <br /> (2) For "billboard signs", the height will be measured from the elevation of <br /> the centerline of the adjacent road to the top of the sign. <br /> (3) For "directory signs", the height will be measured from the elevation of <br /> the centerline of the adjacent road to the top of the sign. <br /> (4) For "electronic signs", the height of the sign shall be determined by the <br /> manner of installation of the sign, i. e., according to whether the sign is of <br /> the ground, wall, projecting or pylon type. <br /> (5) For "ground mounted signs", except billboards, directory or pylon signs, <br /> the height shall be measured from ground level beneath the sign to the top <br /> edge of the sign. <br /> (6) For a "projecting sign", the height shall be measured from ground level <br /> to the top of sign. The bottom edge of such sign shall be located a minimum <br /> of eight feet from ground level directly under the sign. <br /> (7) For a "pylon sign", the height will be measured from the elevation of the <br /> centerline of the adjacent road to the top of the sign. <br />
