10.155 <br /> • 10.16 <br /> (3) BUILDING HEIGHT LIMIT. The maximum height for all buildings shall be 50 feet. <br /> Tanks, storage bins, silos and towers shall not be subject to this limitation. <br /> (4) SETBACK REQUIREMENTS. Setbacks from front lot line or highway right-of-way shall <br /> comply with the provisions of Section 10.17. <br /> (5) SIDE YARD REQUIREMENTS. For business or commercial buildings no side yards shall be <br /> required for interior lots; provided, however, that if a business or commercial build- <br /> ing is built on a lot adjacent to a lot or parcel zoned residential, then that busi- <br /> ness or commercial building shall provide a side yard equal to that which is required <br /> for the building on the adjacent lot. <br /> (6) REAR YARD REQUIREMENTS. For business and commercial buildings, the minimum depth of <br /> any rear yard shall be 10 feet. <br /> (7) OFF-STREET PARKING. Off-street parking space shall be provided in accordance with the <br /> provisions,of Section 10.18. <br /> (8) SCREENING PROVISIONS. On lots adjacent to or abutting land in a residence district, <br /> the screening provisions of Section 10.16 (8) shall be complied with prior to the issu- <br /> ance of a certificate of compliance. <br /> SECTION 10.155 CO-1 CONSERVANCY DISTRICT <br /> (1) PERMITTED USES. <br /> (a) Hunting, fishing and trapping. <br /> (b) Propagation and raising of game animals, fowl and fish. <br /> (c) Sustained yield forestry. <br /> (d) The harvesting of any wild crops such as marsh hay, ferns, moss, berries, tree fruits <br /> and tree seeds. <br /> (e) Grazing. <br /> (f) Dams and hydro-electric power stations. <br /> (g) Communication and power transmission lines or towers; other public utility lines or <br /> facilities. <br /> (h) If the land is publicly owned, such facilities as the owning or controlling agency <br /> shall direct, including without limitation because of enumeration, camping, boat <br /> landings, sale of bait, boat and motor rental, sale of gasoline for boats, refresh- <br /> ment facilities and the like. <br /> (i) Non-residential buildings or structures accessory to any permitted uses. <br /> (j) Residential or housing facilities for persons employed on the premises. <br /> (k) Improvement of water courses and bodies of water. <br /> (2) CONDITIONAL USES permitted in the CO-1 Conservancy District. If the land is privately <br /> owned, those uses enumerated in 10.155 (1) (h) . <br /> (3) USES PROHIBITED. If the land is privately owned, any filling of marsh land, removal of <br /> top soil or damming of any water course unless approved by the Zoning Committee after <br /> public hearing. <br /> SECTION 10.16 GENERAL PROVISIONS AND EXCEPTIONS. <br /> (1) USE <br /> (a) Any use not listed as a permitted use in a district is prohibited in that district and <br /> except as otherwise expressly provided, any use listed as a permitted use in any other <br /> district shall be construed as a_prohibited use in any other district. <br /> (b) The following uses shall be permitted in the districts specified when the uses do <br /> not alter the character of the premises in respect to their use for the purposes per- <br /> mitted in that district: <br /> 1. In any district, real estate offices and signs advertising property for sale for a <br /> period not to exceed one (1) year. <br /> 2. In any district, temporary buildings and the temporary storage of materials and <br /> equipment incidental to the construction of buildings on the premises, for a period <br /> 33 <br />
