10.126 <br /> SECTION 10.126 A-2 AGRICULTURE DISTRICT <br /> (1) PERMITTED USES. <br /> (a) Agricultural uses. <br /> (b) Dog kennels and colony houses. <br /> (c) Utility services. <br /> (d) Home occupations. <br /> 1. Home occupations in the A-2 Agriculture District shall be limited to the following <br /> uses: <br /> A. Professional offices. <br /> B. Barber and beauty shops. <br /> C. Watch clock, furniture, toy, doll, small electric appliances, radio and televi- <br /> sion repair shops and upholstery shops. <br /> D. Sales of antiques, used clothing, used furniture and used and new books. <br /> E. Art studios, craft studios selling art craft items that are the result of efforts <br /> by someone who is a resident on the premises. <br /> F. Home bakeries. <br /> 2. Home occupations. in the A-2 Agriculture District shall be subject to the following <br /> restrictions: <br /> A. The activity shall be limited to existing residential or accessory buildings on <br /> the premises and the floor area devoted to the activity shall not exceed 25 per- <br /> cent (25%) of the living area on the premises. <br /> B. Not more than one (1) person who is not resident on the premises can be employed <br /> in the activity. <br /> C. That before any of the aforementioned activities can commence, a certificate of <br /> compliance shall be obtained from the Zoning Administrator. <br /> D. Any on-premises sign advertising the presence of any of the foregoing activities <br /> shall be limited to 12 square feet and shall not be lighted at night. <br /> . (e) Accessory buildings including private garages and buildings clearly incidental to a <br /> permitted use of the premises. Such buildings shall not be used for residential pur- <br /> poses. <br /> (f) A building to be used for the storage of personal property owned by the owner of the <br /> land, but not for the storage of goods or merchandise considered to be a dealer's in- <br /> ventory or machinery or equipment used off of the premises for other than agricultural <br /> purposes. An accessory building can be built on parcels of land in the A-2 Agriculture <br /> District without the necessity of there being a residence on the property. <br /> (g) The seasonal storage of recreational equipment and motor vehicles owned by private in- <br /> dividuals other than those resident on the premises, this storage to be in existing <br /> accessory farm buildings. The storage of a dealer's inventory or the construction of <br /> any new buildings for storage shall be considered a commercial use and subject to the <br /> provisions of this chapter. <br /> (m) Boarding stables. <br /> (n) Horse show facilities but not including commercial shows and rodeos where admission is <br /> charged. Shall be subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Adequate off-street parking shall be provided for both participants and audience ve- <br /> hicles. <br /> 2. Food services, drinking water supplies and t©ilet facilities shall be approved by the <br /> Dane County Health Department. <br /> (2) CONDITIONAL USES permitted in the A-2 Agriculture District. <br /> (a) Mineral extraction.. . . <br /> 25 <br />
