Proposed Land Use/Managemer .RESOURCE MANAGEMENT AREA Land to be managed primarily for forest, wildlife, and fisheries resource protection and enhancement. Non - intensive, low -development recreation would be an additional use. STATE NATURAL AREA Land managed for preservation of outstanding native bioti communities or endangered species habitat. Fourteen nev natural areas are proposed. EHABITAT PRESERVATION AREA Outstanding habitat for a number of rare mussels and aquatic insects. Two habitat preservation areas are proposed. a + STATE PARK k#�� Each park will continue to be managed under its own master plan. SCENIC MANAGEMENT AREA Land to be managed primarily for the maintenance and enhancement of scenic values. There would be some restrictions on department vegetation management and facility development. NON -ACQUISITION — SCENIC MANAGEMENT AREA Zoning ordinances would protect these scenic bluff areas from adverse impacts of commercial and residential development. Existing private land uses could continue. .INTENSIVE USE AREA Land to be developed for heavy recreational use.
