- 7 - <br /> Create a new 10.01 (32a) to read as follows: <br /> (32a) MOTOR VEHICLES: Any vehicle which is driven or propelled by gasoline, <br /> natural or manufactured gas, diesel fuel, steam or eletricity and used for haul- <br /> ing or transporting goods, materials, freight or passengers and is capable of <br /> traveling either on or off of the public highway. Farm tractors and farm machinery <br /> shall not be included as motor driven vehicles. <br /> Create a new 10.01 (33a) to read as follows: <br /> (33a) NURSING HOME: A home for the aged, chronically ill, or incurable person in <br /> which three or more persons not of the immediate family are received, kept or pro- <br /> vided with food and shelter or care for compensation; but not including hospitals, <br /> clinics, or similar institutions devoted primarily to the diagnosis and treatment <br /> of the sick or injured. <br /> Create a new 10.01 (40a) to read as follows: <br /> (40a) RECREATIONAL EQUIPMENT: Shall include boats, canoes, snowmobiles; or camp- <br /> ing and luggage carrying trailers intended to be towed by an automobile or truck <br /> and not exceeding 24 feet in length or a camper unit to be mounted on a truck. <br /> Any trailer over 24 feet in length or motor driven camper or motor home shall for <br /> purposes of this ordinance be considered a motor vehicle. <br /> Repeal 10.01 (40) and recreate to read as follows: <br /> SOLID WASTE RECYCLING CENTER: A solid waste recycling center is a solid waste dis- <br /> posal operation at which temporary storage and processes such as baling of paper, <br /> grinding of glass and flattening of cans, are conducted on segregated solid waste <br /> to facilitate re-use of the segregated solid waste as raw material. Also see <br /> salvage yard section 10.20 (1) (a) . <br /> Repeal 10.01 (42) and recreate to read as follows: <br /> ROADSIDE STAND: A structure having a ground area of not over 200 square feet, not <br /> permanent by being attached to the ground, readily removable in its entirety and <br /> to be used solely for the sale of farm and garden products producted on the pre- <br /> mises. Such structures may be located within the setback lines of of road, but <br /> shall not interfere with visibility along the highway. <br /> Create a new 10.01 (61b) to read as follows: <br /> (61b) TEMPORARY OR PORTABLE BUILDING: A building or structure that is not attached <br /> to the ground by anchors, bolts, footings, foundation piers, pilings, posts or <br /> other means of attaching permanently to the ground. Lawn and yard buildings not <br /> attached, anchored or affixed to the ground shall not exceed 32 square feet of <br /> floor area on a lot in a residence district. <br /> Create a new 10.01 (63a) to read as follows: <br /> (63a) UTILITY SERVICES: Transmission and distribution lines both above and be- <br /> low ground which carry electricity, petroleum products, natural or manufactured <br /> gas, water, sewer or telephone messages, included are buildings, necessary to <br /> operate transmission and distribution lines such as substations, transformer in- <br /> stallations, repeater stations, pumping stations but not including offices, garages, <br /> manually operated exchanges, terminal distribution facilities, electric generating <br /> plants and sewage disposal plants. <br /> EFFECTIVE: 9/24/76 <br />
