ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT NO. 1627 <br /> Amending the text of the Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> The Dane County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows: <br /> Amend 10.01 (26) to read as follows: <br /> (26) Lot: A parcel of land occupied or intended to be occupied by one building and its <br /> accessory building and uses, except as otherwise provided herein. A lot may be a <br /> parcel designated in a plat or described in a conveyance recorded in the office of <br /> the Register of Deeds. No lands included in any street, highway or railroad right- <br /> of-way shall be included when computing area. <br /> Create a new 10.01 (61a) to read as follows: <br /> (61a) Terminal, truck or bus: Buildings or land which is used for the storage of <br /> trucks, semi-tractors, semi-trailers or buses used in connection with the trans- <br /> porting of passengers or freight. The storage of not more than one truck, the <br /> capacity of which does not exceed 21 tons, shall not be deemed a truck terminal. <br /> Repeal 10.01 (1) and recreate to read as follows: <br /> (1) There shall not be more than one principal building and one accessory building <br /> on a lot except in the A-1 Agriculture District where additional accessory buildings <br /> are permitted but are limited to barns, sheds, silos and the like which are necessary <br /> to a farm operation. <br /> Amend 10.25 (2) (b) to read as follows: <br /> (b) Permits shall not be required for accessory farm buildings such as barns, sheds, <br /> silos and the like when such buildings are used in the operation of a farm, provided <br /> that the proposed building will not be located within a mapped flood plain or within <br /> a shoreland area and conforms to all of the locational requirements of this ordinance. <br /> If the proposed location of an accessory farm building does not meet the locational <br /> requirements, a variance and a permit must be requested from the Board of Adjustment. <br /> Amend 10.25 (2) (c) to read as follows: <br /> (c) The Zoning Supervisor may require the filing of a scale drawing of the premises, <br /> showing the dimensions of the lot or parcel, the dimensions of the proposed building, <br /> the distance in feet from the abutting street or highway and from the side and rear <br /> lot line, the size and location of any existing buildings and such other information <br /> as he deems necessary. He may also require evidence of compliance with the Dane <br /> County Sanitary Code (Chapter 27), the Dane County Land Division and Subdivision <br /> Ordinance (Chapter 28), Dane County Trunk Highway Access Control Regulations (Chapter <br /> 30) or any other State or Township access or culvert permit requirements as a condi- <br /> tion precedent to the issuance of a Zoning Permit. The Zoning Supervisor shall not <br /> be responsible for determining the location of lot lines. <br /> EFFECTIVE: July 1, 1974 <br />
