ZONING ORDINANCE AMENDMENT #2028 <br /> Amending Chapter 10, Dane County Zoning Ordinance. <br /> The Dane County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows: <br /> • <br /> 1. Renumber ss 10.01 (3) thru (80) to (4) thru (81) . <br /> _ 2. Create ss 10.01 (4) to read as follows:. <br /> (3) ANIMAL UNIT: One animal unit shall be defined as being the equivalent of one cow, <br /> four hogs, ten sheep, ten goats, one hundred poultry, one horse, one pony or one <br /> mule. <br /> 3. Repeal ss 10.09 (1) (b) and recreate to read as follows: <br /> (b) Keeping of livestock. For the purposes of this section livestock shall include <br /> cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, poultry, horses, ponies and mules. The number of <br /> livestock kept on a lot in the RH-1 Rural Homes District shall not exceed one <br /> animal unit for each full acre of lot area. <br /> 4. Renumber ss 10.09 (1) , (c) (d) & (e) to (d) (e) & (f) and create a new ss (c) to read <br /> as follows: <br /> (c) Growing and production of field crops including hay, grain, tobacco, fruit and <br /> vegetables. Nurseries, sod farms, horticulture and forest products. <br /> 5. Amend ss 10.09 (4) (a) to read as follows: <br /> (a) The minimum lot width shall be 150 feet to be measured at the front building line <br /> of a residence, also at the location of any accessory building for the housing of <br /> pleasure itemises livestock. The minimum lot area shall be not less than 2 acres. <br /> 6. Repeal ss 10.09 (9) . <br /> 10. Amend ss 10.11 (4) (a) to read as follows: <br /> (a) For buildings or sites to be used exclusively for business purposes, no minimum lot <br /> width or area limitations. No such building shall occupy in excess of sixty +66} <br /> forty (40) percent of the area of an interior or corner lot. <br /> 11. Repeal ss 10.11 (4) (c) . <br /> 12. Repeal ss 10.11 (6) (a) and recreate to read as follows: <br /> (a) For buildings to be used exclusively for business purposes that are located on interio3 <br /> lots, a side yard of ten (10) feet for each side shall be provided. For buildings <br /> located on corner lots, the setback provisions of ss 10.17 shall apply on the street <br /> sides. <br /> 13. Amend ss 10.12 (2) (b) to read as follows: <br /> (b) Radio, television transmitting towers, microwave towers, community television an- <br /> tenna including the buildings or structures necessary for their operation but not <br /> including buildings for offices, studios or the like.
