This map dated September 28, 1978, and a revision dated February 8, 1980, <br /> is the official flood plain zoning map for the community and has been approved by the <br /> Department of Natural Resources and the Federal Insurance Administration Office (FIA) <br /> of the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) and is on file in the Office of the - <br /> Zoning Administrator. <br /> Repea moo® Q5) Mend recreate to read as follows: <br /> - (b) Wh '.od 4 * les exist, the location of flood plain boundaries shall be determined • <br /> by using the scale appearing on the map. Where a map amendment has been approved by both the County Board and <br /> the Department of Natural Resources the Zoning Administrator shall have the authority to <br /> grant or deny a land use permit. Permits for land determined to be in the flood plain <br /> shall be processed in accordance with Section 11.12 (4) of this ordinance. <br /> Amend it,ll,L@73 c Q@ t to read as follows: <br /> (c) Comp"lance WI the provisions of this ordinance shall not be grounds for the removal of <br /> lands from the flood plain district unless such lands are filled to a height of at least <br /> two feet above the elevation of the "regional flood" for the particular area and are con- <br /> tiguous to other lands lying outside the flood plain district, approval has been granted <br /> by_the.
