o The board of adjustment shall have the following powers: - a. To hear v and decide appeals horo it is alleged there is an error in any order, requirement, decision or'dotormination made by an administrative official. b. To hear and,docido special exomptions'to the terms of this ordinance. c. Where there are practical difficulties or un.�.ococsary hardships in the way of carrying out the strict letter of this ordinance, the board of adjustmont shall have the power, in passing upon appoals, to authorizo'such variance from the terms of this ordinance as will not be contrary to tho public interest and so that the intent bf the ordiance shall be observed and substantial justice done, provided, however, that no such variance shall have tho offect of allowing,,in any district, uses prohibited in that district. d. Grant a permit for a temporary building for commerce or industry in a district Which is incidental to the residential developoment but no such permit shall be grantodd for•.a period of more than one o. Grant a'permit for the erection acid use of a building or premises in any loca- tion to a public service corporation or for a public utility purpose . . which the board finds roasonable nocossary, for the public convenience, safety or welfare. f. To grant a permit for the location of an othcrvvise hazardous or noxious or offensive use in tho Industrial District When, in the opinion. of the Board, the hazards attendant on such use are rornovod by reason of its proposed location. SECTION XV - CHANGES AITD AT.JEIdDIVIEN'TS The County Board of Supervisors of Da no County, Wisconsin, may, from time to time,' alter, supplement or change the bound ari. os and regulations contained in this ordinance in.tho manner provided by law. SECTION XVI - VIOLATION AND PENALTY The provisions of this ordinanco shall bo;onforood•by or under the diroetion of the county board of supervisors.' Any person, firm, association or corporation who violates, disobeys, omits, nog�octs or refuses to coriply with or resists the enforcoriont of any of the provisions of this ordinance shall, upon conviction thereof, be subject to a-fino of not loss than ten ($10.00) dollars, nor more than two hundred (200.00) dollars, together Va"th the costs of the. action, or by imprisonment in the county jai l ' of Dano County for a term of not more than thirty (30) days and every day of violation shall constitute a separate offenso. Compliance therewith may also'be enforced by injuctional order at the suit of, the county or the owner or ovmors of real estate within the district affected by the regulation of this ordinance. SECTION XVII SAVING CLAUSE The several terms and provisions of this ordinance shall be deemed severable, and if any provision of this ordinance or the application thereof to any person or circumstances is held invalid, the remai.ndor of the ordinance and the application of such provision to other persons and circumstances shall not be affected thereby. SECTION XVIII - REPR&J, OF CONFLICTING ORDINANCES All ordinances or.parts of ordinances in conflict with the terms of this ordinance are hereby repealed. SECTION XIX - EFFECTIVE DATE This ordinance shall become effective immediately on publication. -8-
