J <br />10.23 Chanaess and Amendments <br />(1) The Dane county board of supervisors may from <br />time to time 'amend, supplement, or change by ordinance <br />the boundaries or classifications of districts desi- <br />nated on the officidl zoning maps, or any of the pro+ <br />visions or regulations imposed by this ordinance in <br />the manner provided by law. <br />10:24 Administration, Enforcement and Penalties. <br />(1) The provisions of this ordinance shall be ad- <br />ministered by or under the direction of the zoning <br />supervisor, who in person or by duly authorized deputy <br />or assistant shall have the right to enter upon any <br />premises affected by -this ordinance at reasonable <br />hours for the purpose of inspection. Any person or <br />persons, firm, company or corporation, either owner <br />or occupant of the premises, who violates, disobeys, <br />omits, neglects or •refuses to comply with and who <br />resists the enforcement of any of the provisions of <br />this ordinance shall be subject to a fine of not to <br />exceed two hundred dollars !$200.001, together with <br />the costs of the action, and in default•of payment <br />thereof by any person so fine, such person shall be <br />imprisoned in'the county jail of Dane county for a <br />term of not more than thirty (30) days. Each day that <br />a violation is permitted to exist shall constitute a <br />separate offense. Compliance therewith shall "also be <br />enforced by injuctional order at the suit of the <br />county or the owner or occupant of real estate within <br />the district affected by the regulations of this ordi- <br />nance."It shall not be necessary to prosecute for fine <br />or imprisonment before resorting to injunctional pro- <br />ceedings. <br />(2) Zoning Committee. <br />(a) The zoning committee, originally created by <br />Resolution No. 38A, 1939 -1940, adopted November 13, <br />1989, is hereby recreated. This committee shall cony.: <br />s;.st of three (2) members, appointed by the Dane <br />county park. commission from among its own members for <br />a term of one year, beginning on July 1 of each year. <br />The compensation for members of the zoning committee; <br />shall be the same 'as allowed to county board members <br />for, attendance at commiteee meetings. <br />(b) It shall be the duty of the zoning committee <br />to supervise the administration of this ordinance; to <br />hold hearings on proposed changes in the ordinance as <br />herein provided and make recommendations thereon to <br />the county board; to approve plats for record in <br />accordance with the provisions of Section 236 (1) (b), <br />Visconsin Statutes; and generally to, perform such <br />functions as are by law delegated to the county park <br />commission with" reference to coning. <br />already oa the parcel, and ny other pertinent facts. <br />'The scale of such drawing shall be such as to acct?,,, <br />ately depict the required information. <br />(c) The application for permit shall state the name <br />and address of the owner of the property, the the <br />of the property, the size and location of the <br />building on the lot or parcel, the proposed use 'of the <br />building or premises, the type of construction, the <br />estimated cost, and such other pertinent information <br />as the zoning supervisor may require to determine com- <br />pliance with the provisions of this ordinance. <br />(d) Such application shall be signed by the owner or <br />his duly authorized representative -or agent; provided, <br />however, that if a propospective purchaser desires a <br />rr.ior ruling on a proposed construction or use before <br />consumation of purchae, he may apply for a permit,, and <br />if such permit be denied, he may appeal to the board <br />of adjustment <br />(e) Coincident, with the issuing of a permit the zon- <br />ing supervisor shall issue a card, certifying that a <br />permit has been issued. Such card shall bear the same <br />number as the permit and otherwise iddAtify the construc- <br />tion and premises covered by the permit.
