<br />welding shops,, and similar uses, regardless of' size.

<br />ial or equipment, including road building machinery,
<br />cement mixers and similar equipment.
<br />(g) Stock yards; provided that the Board :of Adjust-
<br />ment, after public ,hearing, shall determine that. the
<br />loca.tion is suitable.
<br />( ^) Building Height Limitations,
<br />(a) residential buildings, or buildings combining
<br />residnetial uses.with'other uses, shall not exceed
<br />thirty -five (35) eet in height.
<br />(b) A b

<br />(3) Area, Frontage and Populaticn,Density Regu-
<br />lations.
<br />Area, frontage, per cent 'of occupancy and Popu-

<br />B -1 Local Business District.
<br />(4) Setback Requirements.
<br />Setback from front lot line or highway.right of way
<br />line shall•conform to the provisions of Section 10.14,
<br />(5) Side Yard Requirements.-
<br />Side yard requirement s shall be the 'same as for Ahe
<br />B -1 Local Business District.
<br />W.'Rear Yard Requirements.
<br />The rear yard,requirements shall be the, sane as for
<br />the B -1 Local Business District.
<br />-10.13 Y -1 Industrial District
<br />-(11• Uses Permitted.
<br />1.
<br />(a)-All uses permitted in.the C -2 Commercisl and
<br />Light Manufacturing District, except residential uses,
<br />including dwellings, hotels, rooming, and boarding
<br />houses.and tourist and trailer camps; provided,, how -
<br />ever,' that accomodations may be furnished for watch-
<br />men and caretakers employed on the premises, and
<br />their families.
<br />(b) Any other use; --not in conflict with latd;'pro-
<br />vided, however, that in the case of hazardous ar, -
<br />noxious uses, the Board of Adjustment, ..after public
<br />hearing, shall determine that the proposed.site•is.
<br />suitable for such use.
<br />(2) Building Height Limit
<br />None.
<br />(3) A -rea, Frontage and Population Density Regula-
<br />tions.
<br />W minimum area or frontage required. The total
<br />ground floor area'of all buildings shall not exceed
<br />eighty (80) per cent of the area of an interior lot
<br />or seventy (70) per cent of the area of a corner lot.'
<br />(4) Setback Requirements.
<br />Setback'from front ,lot line or highway right of way
<br />line shall comply with the provisions of Sectioa 10.14,
<br />(5) Side Ya'rd'Reauirements,
<br />h Side yards_shpll be the same as for the B -1 Local
<br />Business District for,business buildings, as set,
<br />forth in Section 10.09 (5)(a),
<br />(r) Rear Yard Requirements. 1
<br />There shall be ,a. rear yard of not less than ten
<br />(1 -0) feet.
<br />10.14 Setback Provisions
<br />For the purpose of determining the distance which
<br />buildings and other structures shall set back from
<br />\streets and highways, the streets and highways of Dane
<br />county ,are divided into. the following classes:
<br />(1) Class A Highways ,
<br />-(a) AL1 state. and federal highways are hereby
<br />designated, as Class A,highways; also County* Trunk,S
<br />from the west city limits of Madison to its eastern
<br />intersection with County Trunk M.
<br />(b) For all Class A highways setback lines are here-
<br />by established parallel to and distant one hundred
<br />(1110) feet from the center line of the highway;
<br />- provided, however, that when the width of the high-
<br />way is such that one hundred (100) feet from the
<br />center is less than forty -two (42) feet from the right
<br />of way line, then the minimum setback shall be forty-
<br />two feet from the right, of way line.
<br />(c_) On Class A highways having a right of may
<br />width-of two hundred (200) feet or more, where such -•
<br />rights-of way incorporate along their outer edges
<br />service or access roads which serve to bring traffic
<br />from abutting lots or 'parcels on to the -main traveled
<br />portion of such highway only at intersections, and
<br />when the distance'from the outer edge of such,service
<br />or access road to the centerline of the highway, as
<br />established by highway maps, shall be not less than
<br />one hundred (100) feet,, then such service or access
<br />roads 'shall be considered as Class C dr Class D "
<br />(highways'for,the purpose of determining the setback
<br />)of buildings on abutting lots or parcels.
<br />.(2) Clas B Highways.
<br />(al All county' trunk highways, except as otherwise ,
<br />provided, are hereby designated Class B Highuays,
<br />(b) For all Class B highi�ays setback lines are here=
<br />,by- established, parallel to and distant, seventy -five
<br />1( ^5) .feet -from the center line of such highway; pro -
<br />Ivided; .however,, that when the width of such highway
<br />its such that seventy -five (75) feet from the center,
<br />line is, less than forty -two (42) feet from the right
<br />:of way -line; then the minimum setback from the right
<br />!of way line shall be forty -two (42) feet.
<br />(2) Class C •Highways
<br />1 (a) Roads and streets in subdivisions platted prior
<br />Ito the adoption of this ordinance, except those
<br />designated as-Class A or,Class B highways, are hereby
<br />)designated as.Class C highways.
<br />(b) For all Class 'C highways. setback lines are here -
<br />iby established, parallel to and distant twenty (20)
<br />(feet from the right. of way or front .lot line.
<br />(4h Class D Highways '
<br />W All streets, highways and roads not otherwise
<br />)classified are hereby designated Class D highways.
<br />I' (b)For all Class D highways setback lines are here -
<br />iby established, parallel to and distant thirty (30)
<br />ifeet,from the 'right of way ar- 'front lot: line.
<br />(5) Setback Provisions.
<br />(a) No present building, erected prior to the
<br />adoption of this ordinance,'which projects into the
<br />;setback area, shall be moved, added to or structurally
<br />faltered.so as to increase the frontage, mass or area
<br />of that part of the building projecting into the set -
<br />1back area. This provision shall not be deemed to pro=
<br />hibit additions or alterations which, conform to the
<br />`setback requiremeuts provided the building conforns-
<br />ias to 'use.
<br />10._15 Tcurist a%d Trailer Camps
<br />(1) Boundaries and Area
<br />The boundaries of a tourist or trailer camp shall
<br />he clearly defined. The'are shall be such that not
<br />imore than one.cabin, or unit of a building comprising
<br />two or more units, shall-be erected, or more than one
<br />(trailer 'accomodated, for each one. thousand (1,01'0)
<br />�soua.re.feet of cacti: area,. The area occupied. by a
<br />service building, or other accessory building, shall
<br />'not be construed as reducing the total area when com-
<br />iputing the number of units permitted.,
<br />(21 Location,of Buildings and Trailers.
<br />j No building, either single cabins or buildings com-
<br />1prising two or -more 'units in one building,- and no
<br />trailer, shall be located nearer -than ten (19) feet _
<br />to a side or ream line of such camp, and no such
<br />building shall be located within the setback -area.
<br />iNo building or trailer shall be - located closer than
<br />ten (10) feet to any-other building or trailer.
<br />Trailers sha11 be so parked as to provide a ready
<br />;exit from the camp without disturbing, other units.
<br />(3) Health and Sanitary Regulations-
<br />('All tourist and trailer camps shall-comply fully
<br />with the State Board of Health regulations.covering
<br />registration, iwater supply, toilets, laundry and bath-
<br />ing facilities and disposal of waste.
<br />4 , (41 Add itional•Reg- ulations.
<br />Town boards may by ordinance impose -such further
<br />regulations, including licensing, as they may_deem
<br />;necessary; provided, however, that -no such regulation
<br />shall have the effect of nullifying any of the
<br />provisions of this ordinance.
<br />10.16 Dumpiiig Grounds
<br />(1) Use
<br />Lands used for,the public or private dumping, dis-
<br />posal or , storage of rubbish, trash, debris'and waste
<br />(material; other than animal or vegetable matter,.
<br />}shall be deemed a dumping grounds for the purpose of
<br />(this ordinance:
<br />f (2) Location
<br />Such dumping grounds,may be located in any district
<br />other than the RH -1 Rural Homes District, or any
<br />residential district; 'provided, ,however, that no such
<br />dumping grounds shall be located within 'seven hundred
<br />fifty (750) feet of the boundary of a residential or
<br />(rural homes district, a state, federal or county
<br />trunk highway, a building or accessory building other
<br />than that belonging to tre owner or occupant of the
<br />,.premises, a well or watering trough, a.lake, channel,
<br />stream, creek or natural water course,` a public or
<br />private park, cemetery, amusement grounds, playgrounds
<br />or school-grounds.
<br />(3) Permits.
<br />Before any site may be used for a dumping grounds
<br />a permit must first be secured, from the zoning super-
<br />visor.. Application for such permit shall furnish such '
<br />information as -is required to 3etermine compliance
<br />with the requirements of this section, 'together with
<br />a descriUtion of 'the land-involved. The fee for such
