SECTION II - DISTRICTS For the purpose of promoting the public health, safety and general vrelfare, the County of Dane, outside the limits of incorporated villages and cities, is hereby divided into six (6) Districts lc.ovra as: Residence District "A" Residence District "B" ngriculbural District Cor;,morcial District Service District Industrial District The boundaries of the aforesaid six (6) districts are sho-Lm upon_ the map of Dane County, attached hereto, being designated as the "Zoning Map of Dane County, Wisconsin, dated 193 , and made a part of this ordinance. No building, structure or premises shall be orocted, structurally altered or used for a purpose other than is permitted by this ordinance in the District in which such building, structurc or promises is located. No lot arcalshall be so reduced or dimishod that yards or other open spaces shall be smaller than may be prescribed by this ordinance nor shall the density of population be increased in any manner except in conformity to the regulations horein.established. No building or structure shall hereafter be erected or structurally altered adjacent to any lake or stream unless it be so situated that the basement floor shall be above the high vrater nark. No building or structure located within one mile of the boundaries of any airport, omergency landing field or landing basin shall hereafter be erected or structurally altered to a height which is greater than ono -cigth (1/8) of the distance botcvoon dily boundary lino of such airport, emergency landing fiold' or landing basin and the nearest part of such building and structure; provided, further, that no overhead power, telephone or telegraph linos shall be erected within one -half (2) mile of any boundary of any airport, omergency landing field or landing basin.
