• <br /> Section 10.01 <br /> Definitions <br /> (53) Structural Alteration: Any change in the supporting members of a building, such as the <br /> bearing walls or partitions, columns, beams or girders, excepting such alterations as may be <br /> necessary for the safety of the building. <br /> (54) Tavern: A building or part of the building open to the public, where fermentctlmalt bev- <br /> erages and/or intoxicating liguors are sold at retail for consumption on the premises. The fol- <br /> lowing shall net he considered a tavern: a restaurant where such beverages are sold only at <br /> tables and only in conjunction with meals; a club not open to the public where such beverages <br /> are sold in conjunction with the operation of the club; premises where malt beverages are sold <br /> by establieshed organizations in conjunction with the operation of a picnic, fair or other amuse- <br /> ment enterprise. <br /> (55) Tourist Camp: An area or premises on which are located permanent buildings, either <br /> single cabins or buildings comprising two or more units under one roof, together with accessory <br /> buildings, for temporary accomodation of tourists, but not for permanent occupancy except the <br /> owner or occupant of the premises or his employees. <br /> . (56) Trailer_Camp: An area or premises on which is provided space for the temporary accomo- <br /> dation of trailers for tourists, together with the necessary accessory buildings, but not for perm- <br /> anent occupancy. <br /> (57) Yard: A space`on a lot on which a building is situated, unoccupied except as otherwise <br /> provided in this ordinance, open and unobstructed from the ground to the sky. <br /> (58) Yard, Rear: An open space, unoccipied except for accessory buildings, extending from <br /> the rear line of the building to the rear lot line for the entire width of the lot. On lake shore or <br /> water front lots the water front end of the lot shall,be deemed the rear end pf the lot for the pur- <br /> pose of computing rear yards and setback required by this ordinance. <br /> (59),Yard,.Side: A yard or open space on each side of the main building extending from the <br /> . side wall of the building to the side lot line and from the front lot line to the rear yard. <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> • <br /> 6 <br />
