A part of the NWt/ N\V , Section 22 described as follows: beginning at the intersection of the east line of Ilighway 73 and the south line of York Center Road; thence south 500 feet; thence east 500 feet; thence north 500 feet; thence west 500 feet to the point of beginning. 5. A part of the NW% NE1/4, Section 33 described as follows: beginning at a point on the east line of the said NW% NEB/ which is south 742.5 feet from the north section line; thence westerly 264 feet to the center line of County Trunk.TT; thence southeasterly along said center line 99 feet; thence east 264 feet; thence northeasterly on a line parallel to the center line of the high- way 90 feet to the point of beginning. Section 5. Sections III, IV, V, VI, VII and VIII of the ordinance of July 20, 1938, the title to which is recited in the title to this ordinance, are hereby repealed. Section 6. Thirteen new sections of the ordinance hereinabove numbered to be Chapter 10, Dane County Ordinances, are created, to be known and numbered as Sections 10.04 to 10.16, inclusive, to read as follows: 10.04 RESTRICTIONS UPON LANDS'BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES Except as otherwise herein provided: (1) Use. No building or structure shall hereinafter be erected, and no existing building or structure shall be moved, altered, added to or enlarged, nor shall any land, building or struc- ture pr premises be used, designed or intended to be used for any purpose, or in any manner other than a use designated in this ordinance as permitted in the district in which land, build- ing or structure is located. (2) Height: No building or structure shall be erected, nor shall any existing building or structure be moved, reconditioned, added to or structurally altered to exceed in height the limit established by this ordinance for the district in which such building or structure is located. (3) Percentage of Lot Occupancy. No building or structure shall hereafter be erected, nor shall any existing building be moved, altered, enlarged or rebuilt, nor shall any open spaces surrounding any building or structure be encroached upon or reduced in any manner, nor shall a greater percentage of lot be occupied, except in conformity to the building site requiremeiis and the area and yard regulations established by the ordinance, for the district in which such building is located. (4) Density of Population. No building, structure or premises shall be erected, occupied or used so as to provide a greater density of populat on than is allowed by the terms of this ordi- nance for the district in which such building, structure or premises is located. .(5) Open space Limitations. No yard or other open space provided about any building or structure for the purpose of complying with the regulations of this ordinance shall be considered as providing yard or other open space for any other building or structure. Np lot area shall be so reduced or dimished that the yard of other open space shall be smaller than prescribed by this ordinance. 73
