SECTION 10.03; 10.04 <br /> Office of the Zoning Supervisor. The A-1 Agricultural District shall consist of <br /> all areas not otherwise designated on the "Zoning District Maps". The Zoning <br /> Supervisor shall periodically update the "Zoning District Maps" to show any changes <br /> in the zoning district boundary lines resulting from amendments to the zoning <br /> ordinance, annexations, and changes resulting from city or village extraterritorial <br /> zoning provisions. The "Zoning District Maps" together with all information shown <br /> thereon and all amendments thereto, shall be as much a part of this ordinance as if <br /> fully set forth and described herein. <br /> (2) Location of District Boundaries <br /> The following rules shall apply with respect to the boundaries of the zoning dis- <br /> tricts as shown on the zoning district maps: <br /> a. Where zoning district boundary lines are indicated as following streets, <br /> highways, roads, or alleys or extensions thereof, such boundary lines shall <br /> be construed to be the center lines,of said streets or alleys or extensions; <br /> thereof unless clearly shown to the contrary.. <br /> b. Where a dimensioned boundary line coincides approximately-but not exactly with <br /> a lot line which existed on the effective date of incorporation of such bound- <br /> ary line into the zoning map, the said boundary line shall be construed to be <br /> the said lot line at that location. <br /> c. Streets, highways, roads or alleys which are shown on the zoning district maps <br /> and which heretofore have been vacated, or which may be vacated hereafter, shall <br /> be in the same zoning district as the lots, pieces, or parcels abutting both <br /> sides of the street, highway, road or alley involved. If the lots, pieces, or <br /> parcels abutting each side of the street, highway, road or alley were located <br /> in different zoning districts before the said street or alley was vacated, the <br /> center line of such vacated street or alley shall be the boundary line of the <br /> respective zoning. districts. <br /> d. Where any uncertainty exists as to the exact location of zoning district bound- <br /> ary lines, the Board of Adjustment, upon written application, shall determine <br /> the location of such boundary lines. <br /> e. Where any uncertainty exists as to the location and boundary of the flood prone <br /> areas (Regional Flood) the flood profile elevation shall govern. <br /> Section 5. Sections III, IV,V, VI,VII and VIII of the ordinance of July 20, 1938, the <br /> title to which is recited in the title to this ordinance, are hereby repealed. <br /> Section 6. Thirteen new sections of the ordinance hereinabove numbered to be Chapter <br /> 10, Dane County Ordinances, are created, to be known and numbered as Sections 10.04 <br /> to 10.16 inclusive, to read as follows: <br /> 10.04 RESTRICTIONS UPON LANDS BUILDINGS AND STRUCTURES <br /> Except as otherwise herein provided: <br /> (1) Use: No building or structure shall hereinafter be erected, and. no existing <br /> building or structure shall be moved, altered, added to or enlarged, nor shall <br /> any land, building or structure or premises be used, designed or intended to <br /> be used for any purpose, or in any manner other than a use designated in this <br /> ordinance as permitted in the district in which land, building or structure is <br /> located. <br /> - 8 - <br />
