No land <br />included in any street, highway, or railroad right of way shall be included <br />in computing lot area. <br />(17) Lot, Corner: A lot located at the intersection of two streets, any <br />two comers of which have an angle of one hundred twenty (120) degrees <br />or less, or is bounded by a curved street any two chords of which, on the <br />inside of the curve, form an angle of one hundred twenty (120) degrees <br />or less. <br />(18) Lot, Interior: A lot which is not a corner lot. <br />(19) Lot Lines: The lines bounding a lot as described herein. <br />(20) Lot Width: For purposes of this ordinance the width of a lot <br />shall be the shortest distance between the side lines at the setback line. On <br />lake shore lots the lot width shall be the distance between the side lot lines <br />at the building line. <br />(21) Non - conforming Use: A building or premises occupied by a use <br />which does not conform to the regulations of the district in which it is <br />located. <br />(22) Park, Amusement: An area, publicly or privately owned, contain- <br />ing amusement and recreation facilities and devices, whether operated for <br />profit or not. <br />(23) Park, Public: An area owned by the county or a municipality <br />within the county, operated for the convenience and recreation of the <br />public, and containing such facilities as the owning municipality shall <br />see fit. <br />(24) Parking Lot: A lot where automobiles are parked or stored tem- <br />porarily, but not including the wrecking of automobiles or other vehicles <br />or storage for the purpose of repair or wrecking. <br />(25) Person: Except when otherwise indicated by the context, the <br />word person shall include the plural, or a company, firm, corporation or <br />partnership. <br />(26) Professional Office: When conducted in a residential district a <br />professional office shall be incidental to the residential use of the premises, <br />shall be conducted by a member of the resident family entirely within a <br />residential building; and shall include the offices of doctors or practitioners, <br />ministers, architects, landscape architects, professional engineers, lawyers, <br />authors, artists, musicians and other recognized professional occupations <br />conducted within residences, but not including personal services, such as <br />barbers, beauticians and similar occupations. <br />(27) Recreational Camp: An area containing one or more permanent <br />buildings used occasionally or periodically for the accommodation of mem- <br />bers of associations or groups for recreational purposes. <br />(28) Rendering Plant: A plant for reduction of dead animals, or slaugh- <br />tered animals not suitable for human consumption, to by- products, such as <br />hide, skin, grease, bones, glue and soap, and for the storage of such <br />by- products. <br />(29) Roadside Stand: A structure used or' intended to be used by the <br />owner or occupant of the premises on which it is located for the sale of <br />farm or garden products produced on the premises or adjacent premises. <br />Such structure shall not be placed within the setback line and may not be <br />used for the sale of or dealing in merchandise other than farm products <br />locally produced. <br />(30) Rooming House: Same as lodging house. <br />(31) Setback: The minimum horizontal distance from the front lot line <br />of the lot or from the center of the highway, measured parallel to the <br />highway or the front lot line to the front of the building. <br />—4— <br />
