SEC^lION 10.16 <br />(e) When the side line of an interior -lot is formed wholly or in part by the <br />rear line of an abutting corner lot and the street side ,yard for the main <br />building is less than the setback for the main building facing such street, <br />the setback for the building on such interior lot may be modified so as <br />to be midway between the side yard .for -the building on the corner lot and <br />the setback for such street.' <br />(f) In platted subdivisions recorded before the adoption of this ordinance <br />where a building line shall have been established by the construction of <br />buildings on thirty (30) per cent of the lots in any one block, such estab- <br />lished setback line shall be the setback for such block, but in no event <br />shall such setback be less than twenty (20) feet. <br />(g) No existing building, erected prior to the adoption of this ordinance, which <br />projects into the setback area, shall be moved, structurally altered or <br />added to so as to increase that part of the building projecting into the <br />setback area. This provision shall not be construed to prohibit additions <br />or alterations which conform to the setback requirements. <br />(5) SIDE YARDS <br />(a) Lots of non - conforming widthi <br />1. On lots fifty (50) feet or more in width but less than sixty (60) feet, <br />the minimum aggregate side yards shall be fifteen (15) feet and no single <br />side yard shall be less than five (5) feet. <br />2. On lots less than fifty (50) feet in width the minimum side _yard on each <br />side 'shall be five (5) feet. <br />(b) Corner Lots: <br />1. When the long side of a corner lot is formed by a Class A, B or C highway <br />the side yard on such street shall conform to the setback requirements <br />for such highway. <br />2. ti,hen the long side of a corner lot is formed by a Class D or E highway <br />the side yard for such street shall be not less than one -fifth of the <br />width of the lot, but in no event less than ten (10) feet. The ten (10) <br />foot minimum shall apply only on lots fifty (50) feet or less in width. <br />(c) Side Yards for Special Uses: <br />1. Side yards for uses designated in Section 10.05 (1)(f), (g) and (h) shall <br />be not less than fifty (50) feet on each side of the building and for <br />uses designated in Section 10.12 (1)(g) the minimum side yard on each <br />side shall be seventy -five (75) feet; provided that when such building <br />is located on a corner lot the side yard on the side toward the side <br />street may be reduced by twenty -five (25) feet but not below the required <br />setback for such street. <br />(6) REAR YARDS <br />(a) Location of accessory buildings in rear yardsi <br />1.
