A filing fee of $2 shall be required for each application. <br />All existing mineral extraction operations shall be deemed non - conforming uses <br />and may be continued providing that they have been worked prior to the date of <br />adoption of this ordinance and they have been registered with the County Zoning <br />Supervisor within one year of the date of adoption of this ordinance. <br />(d) Manufacturing and processing of natural agricultural resources and <br />products, including without limitation because of enumeration creameries, cheese <br />factories, condenseries, canneries, hemp mills, sorghum mills and similar uses, <br />but not including rendering plants, fertilizer plants and the like. <br />(e) Skeet and trap shooting, and rifle ranges, if not nearer than eight <br />hundred (800) feet to any residence other than that of the owner or resident of <br />the premises, subject of the provisions of 10.25 (4), Application for Approval <br />of Site. <br />(f� Airports,.landing fields or landing strips, together with hangars and <br />necessary buildings and equipment. <br />(g) Penal.and correctional institutions, contagious hospitals and insane <br />asylums. <br />(h) Slaughter houses, pea viners and tourist and trailer camps subject to <br />the provisions of 10.25 (4), Application for Approval of Site. <br />(i) Radio and television stations, radio and television transmission towers <br />and microwave relay towers, together with accessory buildings, studios, etc., <br />provided that the size of the parcel of land and the location of the tower is <br />such as to insure that a tower will not fall on the property of adjacent owners <br />or across a public highway. <br />(j) Signs to advertise the sale of agricultural products produced on the <br />premises; signs to advertise any other permitted use; signs giving the name of <br />the farm or farm owner; directory signs. <br />(k) Dumping grounds, subject to the provisions of Section 60.72 of the <br />statutes. . <br />(2 ) BUILDING HEIGHT LIMIT: <br />(a) For residential uses the building height shall be the same as for the <br />R -4 Residence District. <br />(b) For all other buildings the maximum building height shall be sixty -five <br />(65) feet. <br />(3) AREA, FRONTAGE AND POPULATION DENSITY REGULATIONS: <br />(a) For agricultural uses the area shall be not less than five (5) acres <br />and the minimum width shall be two hundred fifty (250) feet, the width to be <br />measured at the location of accessory farm buildings. <br />22 <br />
