COUNTY OF DANE <br />Purchase of Services Agreement <br />- 104wiliji 40 <br />1. PROVIDER will apply the contract amount to the management and maintenance <br />of the Access Line. The Access Line is a free telephone counseling service for <br />small business owners, managers, and people thinking of starting a business. It is <br />designed to provide information, guidance and referral to resources. In addition <br />to receiving help through discussion, most callers are sent educational and <br />reference materials. Trained business counselors use a sophisticated computer <br />system, and a large selection of reference materials which enables the service to <br />offer: a) true counseling; the wider picture is assessed in addition to answering <br />questions that prompted the call; b) referral to a wide range of resources: federal, <br />state, county, city, university and private sector; c) guidance on approaching <br />almost any business-related issue: marketing, management, finance and <br />regulations; and d) help to large numbers of callers. <br />2. A report of the services that were provided during the contract year by the UW <br />Small Business Development Center shall be filed with the Office of the County <br />Executive on or before January 31, 2013. The report should include but not be <br />limited to the number of contacts in each of the contract categories. <br />�Yoj' I l i <br />1. The maximum amount will be $4,729. <br />2.
