ZONING ORDINANCE AA43 I T #2028 Amending Chapter 10, Dane County Zoning Ordinance. The Dane County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows: 1. Renumber ss 10.01 (3) thru (80) to (4) thru (81). 2. Create ss 10.01 (4) to read as follows: (3) ANIMAL UNIT: One animal unit shall be defined as being the equivalent of one cow, four hares, ten sheep, ten goats, one hundred poultry, one horse, one pony or one mule. 3. Relveal ss 10.09 (1) (b) and recreate to read as follows: (b) Keeping of livestock. For the purposes of this section livestock shall include cattle, hogs, sheep, goats, poultry, horses, ponies and mules. The number of livestock kept on a lot in the REI -1 Rural Homes District shall not exceed one animal unit for each full acre of lot area. 4. Renumber ss 10.09 (3), (c) (d) & (e) to (d) (e) & (f) and create a new ss (c) to read as Fallows: (o) Growi.og and production of field crops including hay, grain, tobacco, fruit and vegetables. Nurseries, sod farms, horticulture and forest products. 5. end ss 10.09 (4) (a) to read as follows: (a) The minimum lot width shall be 150 feet to be measured at the front building line of a residence, also at the location of any accessory building for the housing of Vaeastire kerses livestock. The minimum lot area shall be not less than 2 acres. 6. T. Amend ss 10.09 (7) (b) to read as follows: (b) Accessory buildings for the housing of livestock pleasure kerses shall be located not less than 50 feet from any side lot line. 8. Amend ss 10.09 (8) (b) to read as follows: (b) Accessory buildings for the housing of livestock p-leasnre herses shall be located not less than 50 feet from any rear lot line. 9. Repeal ss 1€3.09 (9) . 10. 7mend ss 10.11 (4) (a) to read as follows: (a) For buildings or sites to be used exclusively for business purposes, no minimum lot width or area limitations. Repeal ss 10.11 (6) (a) and recreate to read as follows: (a) For buildings to he used exclusively for business purposes that are located on interior lots, a side yard of ten (10) feet for each side shall be provided. For buildings located on corner lots, the setback provisions of ss 10.17 shall apply on the street sides. 13. Amend ss 10.12 (2) (b) to read as follows: (b) Radio, television transmitting towers, microwave towers, community television an- tenna including the buildings or structures necessary for their operation but not including buildings for offices, studios or the like. The Committee may grant the permit if it finds that the tower if it falls will not fall on a public road right- of-way or on adjacent property.
