Mr. Ryan Kahl <br />345 West Wilson St. <br />Stoughton WI 53589 <br />(608) 358-2212 <br />March 8, 2004 <br />Mr. Norbert Scribner <br />My name is Ryan Kahl; I am looking at buying a parcel of land in the town of <br />Albion. I have a few questions that Ron Ripp, in the survey department, told me you <br />might be able to answer for me. The parcel I am looking at purchasing (#002/0512-093- <br />8140-9) is currently owned by Tom Bolden and is on the south/west corner of Maple <br />Grove Road and 1-90. My questions are about some things that I talked to Ron Ripp <br />about on March 3, 2004. He had said there may be a problem with building a house on <br />this piece of land because of the way the state surveyed it when they put in the interstate. <br />I would like your opinion about whether or not this land would be suitable to build on or <br />not. Another question I would like to find out is about the current driveway/easement <br />that runs east/west along the ditch of Maple Grove Road through another parcel <br />(#002/0512-093-8500-3) owned by William Myham. Ron Ripp had said that the <br />driveway is in the right-of-way of Maple Groove Rd. Tom Bolden says he has been using <br />the driveway for over thirty years. Bolden's land is currently land locked by a guard rail <br />that runs over the interstate and sixty feet past his land. I was wondering what I could do <br />to make this into a legal, useable driveway to get back to the land.
