Fax (608) 271-8862 Email dctc@danecountytitle.com Web www.danecountytitle.com We have compiled a search of the records in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Dane County, Wisconsin through December 7, 2006; relative to lands described in Warranty Deed Recorded, as Document No. 3304038. Parcels A & B in said document started back in 1869 as a 11.93 acre parcel in Warranty Deed recorded in Volume 81 of Deeds page 417; to Horatio Ames. Title to said 11.93 acres continued down to 1895. Then a Warranty Deed recorded in Volume 157 of Deeds page 500, as Document No. 204818 was given to John Anderson. In 1907 Anderson sold the West 28.5 feet to Wayne Thornton; more particularly described in Volume 205 of Deeds page 281, as Document No. 283550. Thornton then sold said 28.5 feet strip in 1916 to George E. Thornton; described in Volume 254 of Deeds page 73, as Document No. 351640. In 1919 Anderson sold the balance of said 11.93 acres to Hans Gust Hanson in Volume 271 of Deeds page 483, as Document No. 376519. In 1923 Hanson conveyed said lands to George E. Thornton in Volume 298 of Deeds page 397, as Document No. 420296. And now we have common ownership by George E. Thornton. In 1947 George E. Thornton conveyed about .646 acres to Dane County in a Highway Conveyance in Volume 210 of Miscellaneous page 89, as Document No. 760506. George Thornton Died in estate on July 16, 1957 leaving real estate to his widow Pauline B. Thornton; as set forth in Certified Copy of final judgment recorded in Volume 91 of Final Judgments page 497, as Document No. 1074579. Pauline B. Thornton died in estate on June 1, 1967. Her executor in 1968 conveyed said lands to Keith Thornton in Volume 60 of Records page 28, as Document No. 1224934.
