Dane County Planning & Development
Room 116, City -County Building, Madison, Wisconsin 53703-3342
February 3, 2006
William H. Weber, Sr.
First Weber Group, Inc.
2985 Triverton Pike Drive, Suite # 200
Madison, Wisconsin 53703-3342
Re: # 050907391500
SW1/4 S7 T5N R9E
Town of Oregon
Dane County
Dear Mr. Weber:
Land Division Review
608I266-9086
It is apparent that the subject 11.5 acres land parcel was created as a separate legal
entity, subsequent to the effective date of A-1 Agriculture (Exclusive) Zoning in the
Town of Oregon, without the required change in zoning classification. Accordingly,
in order to correct this illegal zoning parcel status a change in zoning classification
is required. In the alternative the 11.5 acres parcel can be conveyed to Edgar
Tachon, provided that Edgar Tachon continues to own more than 35 net acres of
land which continues to be zoned A-1 Agriculture (Exclusive).
The 11.5 acres zoning parcel cannot be retained by Steven E. Tachon & Mary Lynn
Tachon without a change in zoning classification. The 11.5 acres parcel cannot be
conveyed to a third party without a change in zoning classification. A "non -
buildable" or "recreational" designation will not alter the requirement of a zoning
change for the purposes of creating the 11.5 acres zoning parcel.
Sincerely,
Norbert Scribner, Land Division Review
cc: Steven E. Tachon
Edgar Tachon
Clerk, Town of Oregon
Enclosure:
