09/15/2006
Mr. Norbert Scribner
Dane County Land Division
Dear Mr. Scribner,
I am in need of your input on a rezoning — land division question. Below I
have listed some background information.
1. In 1968 Wesley Skaar gave a 1 acre parcel to his sister and brother in-
law to build a home. The family's attorney wrote the description but,
no survey was done.
2. Two months ago I obtained an offer, subject to boundary survey.
Survey showed the lot line bisecting house, eliminating well, and
meandering into the corn field.
3. To correct this problem we had surveyor give us a map adding parcels
A&C to property from neighbor (brother-in-law to Wesley Skaar)
with parcel B going back to Wesley as corn field. Mr. Skaar owns the
adjacent lands on East side of Hwy N.
4. My question is do we have to do a CSM on house and parcels A&C?
Also, can Parcel D with addition of parcel B remain AG exclusive?
Parcels A&C are zoned AG exclusive, Parcel B is R1A with the rest
of parcel containing house. As you can see, this situation is a problem
for the sellers of home. Also, since Mr. Wesley is trying to help his
brother in-law, he doesn't want to lose splits or be deed restricted over
this.
Thank You for your consideration. I am hoping to attend the November
meeting at ems- 0 N Z
Ellery Jensen
Stark Company Realtor
