Dane County Planning & Development
Room 116, City -County Building, Madison, Wisconsin 53709
August 11, 1999
William T. Patrick
7075 Gehin Road
Belleville, Wisconsin 53508
Re: LAND DIVISION (Patrick)
SW1/4 S27 T5N R8E
Town of Montrose
Dane County
Dear William T. Patrick:
Land Division Review
608/266-9086
In response to your communication of August 6, 1999 (copy attached) please note the
following:
1. The designations "parcel 1, parcel 2 & parcel 3" have no legal significance.
2. The Dane County Code of Ordinances cannot recognize separate parcel status because
of lack of compliance with both the Dane County Land Division Regulations and the
Dane County Zoning Ordinance.
3. The subject properties were conveyed without the required certified survey map
approvals, and are considered to be illegally created.
4. In view of the above specifics, and because the land parcels cannot be utilized as
building sites, the discussion of access liability becomes a rather moot issue.
Sincerely,
Norbert Scribner, Land Division Review
cc: Anchor Bank
Enclosure:
