City -County Building, Madison, Wisconsin 53703-3342 <br />September 24, 2007 <br />Ellery Jensen <br />2852 Gaston Road <br />Cottage Grove, Wisconsin 53527 <br />RE: # 071106185009 <br />NE1/4 S6 T7N R11E <br />Town of Cottage Grove <br />Dane County <br />Dear Mr. Jensen: <br />Land Division Review <br />608/266 9086 <br />In response to your communication, a search of the public record has been <br />completed for the purpose of providing the requested parcel status determination. <br />It is apparent that the subject 25 acres land parcel, described in R182/59, Dane <br />County Registry, was properly created as a separate legal entity prior to the <br />applicable effective date of the Dane County Land Division Regulations. <br />Accordingly, this 25 acres parcel can be separately conveyed, at this time, without a <br />Dane County certified survey map approval. <br />However, the current Dane County interpretation of a zoning parcel provides that <br />all lands within the same ownership, even though they consist of non-contiguous <br />elements, constitute a single zoning parcel.
