Dane County Planning & D:evelopment
Room 116. City -County Building, Madison. Wisconsin 53703-3342
August 16, 2006
Attorney Peter J. Waltz
P.O. Box 294
Mount Horeb, Wisconsin 53572-0294
Re: # 070727285807, # 070727285709, # 070727285601
NW1/4 S27 T7N R7E
Town of Cross Plains
Dane County
Dear Attorney Waltz:
Land Division Review
606/266-9086
In response to your communication of July 26, 2006 (copy attached), a search of the
public record has been completed for the purpose of providing the requested parcel
status determination. It is apparent that the subject 3 land parcels, described in
D765/111, R88/235 & D688/104, Dane County Registry, were properly created as
separate legal entities prior to the applicable effective date of the Dane County Land
Division Regulations, and prior to the effective date of A-1 Agriculture (Exclusive)
Zoning in the Town of Cross Plains. Accordingly, these parcels can be separately
conveyed, at this time, without a Dane County certified survey map approval, and
without a change in zoning classification, pursuant to S.10.16(3)(a), Dane County
Code of Ordinances.
However, any re -division of these parcels, resulting in zoning parcels that do not
meet zoning district minimums, will require a change in zoning classification.
Sincerely,
Norbert Scribner, Land Division Review
cc: Duwayne P. Statz
Clerk, Town of Cross Plains
Enclosure:
