Reclamation
Plan Norslien
Page 4

Erosion Control:

Post Mining
Land Use:

Reclamation
Estimate:

Grading:

Conclusion:

During all phases of the reclamation, disturbed area will be closely
monitored for potential erosion. The use of silt fencing, rip-rap, hay
bales, and prompt seeding and mulching of the finished area will
minimize any erosion, as all slopes will drain into the quarry itself
and be contained on site. See enclosed ECP #592.

Upon completion of restoration this site will be monitored to ensure
that all erosion control measures are maintained and functioning
as designed.

Agriculture- Pasture, Row Crops.

- l' of topsoil or topsoil substitute, @ 1600 cubic yards per acre @$0.63
per cubic yard = $1000.00 per acre
Seeding, fertilizer and mulch per acre= $300.00
Miscellaneous landscaping and grading per acre= $200.00

Total per acre= $1500.00

The majority of the restoration work will be done by Yahara Materials,
Inc, crews in the course of quarry operations in an ongoing pattern. As
new areas are stripped th~~ overburden will be used in the reclamation of
the previously mined areas. Our plans try to sequence stripping and
reclamation so that areas iOf the quarry can be permanently restored while
stripping other sections of the quarry.

We feel that this is well dlesigned, and can be easily implemented; while
still meeting all the requirements ofNR135.

Respectfully Submitted,

Timothy Geoghegan
Supervisor
YAHARAMATERlALS, INC.
