<br /> <br />CAC (Community Action Coalition) Partners with the Alexander <br />Company for Interim Southdale Community Gardens <br /> <br />CAC is happy to announce that we have entered into a lease agreement with the Alexander <br />Company to help promote a temporary community garden program at the Southdale <br />neighborhood through the end of this year. <br /> <br />We are helping to establish the framework needed to ensure a safe and successful <br />community garden at the Southdale Community Garden for 2008. <br /> <br />CAC will work with residents of the Southdale neighborhood to assist in the cultivating <br />practices at the Interim Southdale Community Gardens at Ski Lane to prepare for a future <br />site at an alternative location for the Southdale Community Gardens for 2009 and <br />beyond. <br /> <br />The Alexander Company has been generous in their efforts to supply the land needed to <br />support this year's Southdale Community Garden. <br /> <br />We are looking forward to this collaborative effort to see the interim and future Southdale <br />Community Garden efforts flourish.
