Quam, P.E. <br />1928 Barber Drive <br />Stoughton WI 53589 <br />RE: Appeal 3630 by Tim & Chris Properties LLC (Ryan & Alison Quam, agent) for variances from <br />minimum lot width at the building setback line, minimum lot area and setback from ordinary high-water <br />mark of Lake Kegonsa, for an existing platted lot in the Shoreland District, as provided by Sections <br />11.03(1), 10.05(4) and 11.03(2) Dane County Code of Ordinances, for property located at 1924 Barber <br />Drive, Section 26, Town of Dunn. <br />Dear Tim and Chris Properties and Mr. Quam: <br />On April 26, 2012, the Dane County Board of Adjustment APPROVED your Variance Appeal 3630. A <br />copy of the minutes of the meeting are as follows: <br />Motion: Studz/Kay to grant a variance of 1327 square feet from the minimum required lot area, a <br />variance of 0.8 feet from the minimum required lot width at the building setback line and a variance of <br />33.9 feet from the minimum required setback to the ordinary high-water mark of the stream to permit <br />construction of new single-family residence as proposed. <br />Kay recused himself and withdrew his second to the motion. <br />Long seconded the motion. <br />Studz amended the motion to include the conditions of approval from the Town of Dunn letter dated <br />February 16, 2012. <br />Long accepted the amendment. <br />Finding of Fact: <br />• The lot was created on September 5, 1905. <br />• The lot width at building setback line is 99.2 feet. <br />• The lot area is 13,287 square feet. <br />• The existing home is 25.8 feet from the ordinary high-water mark (OHWM) of the intermittent <br />stream and 35.7 feet from the OHWM of the lake. <br />• The neighbor's home at 1926 Barber Drive is 49.8 feet from the OHWM of the lake.
