Zoning Committee act4on with regard to zoning amendment #2795 <br />is considered to be a clarification to alleviate any ambiguity <br />in the language of the ordinance. It was intended to show full <br />intent, and support of the interpretation of the Zoning Admini- <br />strator, that non --conforming mineral extraction sites could be <br />continued in spite of any time lapse in use. <br />4. Non -conforming uses are uses that existed prior to any pertinent <br />regulations in the Zoning Ordinance and are exempt from said <br />regulation. Concerns such as dirt, dust, noise, etc., which may <br />be generated by a non -conforming use, thus become matters for <br />civil process in which the Board of Adjustment has no jurisdicti <br />Motion carried. <br />Motion by Schwahn, second by Kruschke to adjourn; motion carried.
