Kornstedt, Senior Assistant <br />Corporation Counsel, as and for an Answer to the Complaint and a <br />Response to the Petition for Writ of Certiorari of the Relator - <br />Plaintiffs, allege and show to the court as follows: <br />CERTIORARI <br />1. ADMIT the allegations of paragraphs 1, 2, and 3 of <br />the Petition. <br />2. DENY the allegations and legal conclusions of <br />paragraph 4 to the effect that until December 12, <br />1981, the Dane County Zoning ordinance prevented the <br />resumption of mineral extraction if discontinued for <br />one year. <br />3. ADMIT the allegations of paragraph 5 of the Petition. <br />4. DENY having knowledge or information sufficient to <br />form a belief as to the truth of the allegations of <br />paragraph 6 of the Petition and leaves Relator - <br />Plaintiffs to their proof thereon. <br />5. As to the allegations of paragraph 7 of the Petition, <br />DENY having knowledge or information sufficient to <br />form a belief as to the truth of the allegation <br />therein as to the date the site was purchased by <br />Madison Sand and Gravel; and DENY the allegation <br />therein that Madison Sand and Gravel or any of its <br />employes or representatives were informed that the <br />site could be re -opened without complying with <br />
