Sec. 10.71 (24)No sign,temporary or otherwise, shall be affixed to a tree or utility pole, fence or fence pole, or be <br /> painted on a stone. <br /> Sec. 10.74(22)Temporary signs shall have a maximum size of 64 square feet and be erected to a height not to <br /> exceed 12 feet. There shall be no more than one such sign per parcel and the sign shall be located on the site <br /> advertised on the sign. <br /> Sec. 10.77(12)No sign shall be located within a road right-of-way. <br /> 10.86(1)Except as provided otherwise by this ordinance, any property is permitted to display temporary signs for a <br /> maximum of thirty days within any 12 month period. Furthermore, any property is limited to use of temporary signs <br /> a maximum of two times in any 12 month period. Political signs are exempt from this restriction. <br /> This letter serves as notice that your property at 2402 W. Beltline Hwy is in violation of the ordinance because no <br /> zoning permit has been issued for structural alterations,and a temporary sign exceeding limitations is onsite. You <br /> are hereby instructed to remove and/or replace the temporary banner to meet DCCO requirements and to submit all <br /> material for a Dane County Zoning Permit within 10 days of the date of this letter. <br /> If there is no submission for a Dane County zoning permit and a replaced or removed banner within the 10-day <br /> time period, citations and fines will be issued for each day in violation.Note that a temporary banner does not <br /> require a zoning permit.
