Mineral Point Rd— Shoreland Erosion Control Plan,
5E2014-0401
The submitted shoreland erosion control plan meets the needs of the site. The plan includes
the following requirements:
1. The site may only be accessed off West Mineral Point Road using a stone tracking pad.
The tracking pad must be a minimum of 50' long x 20' wide x 12" deep and be
constructed of 3-inch clear stone. No other access may be used and material deposited
in the road must be cleaned up at the end of each workday.
2. Silt fence or silt sock(12-inch minimum diameter) must be installed prior to grading in
the locations shown on the plan and where deemed necessary, including down slope of
all soil stockpiles. The fence or sock must be maintained until the site is vegetated and
stabilized.
3. A drainage swale will be constructed along the rear of the building, and temporary ditch
checks will be placed until stabilization takes place. The swale will be stabilized within
one month with WDOT Class II,Type B erosion mat, as shown on the plan.
4. Grading must be confined to the areas shown on the plan. No material storage, vehicle
traffic or grading may occur outside the limits of disturbance identified on the plan. In
the event any additional areas are disturbed, additional erosion control measures will be
required. Sensitive areas exist immediately downstream, and special care must be
taken to ensure no off-site impacts occur.
5. The plan includes a phased construction schedule as follows:
Phase 1: Grading is scheduled to begin on March 15, 2015.
Lyman F.Anderson Agriculture&Conservation Center
5201 Fen Oak Drive,Room 208,Madison,Wisconsin 53718 -PH:608/224-3730,FAX:608/224-3745
www.countyofdane.com/lwrd/permit/
