FROM : TOWNOFMONTROSE PHONE NO. : 6084243848 Aug. 05 2015 02:46PM P3/6 <br /> Town of Montrose <br /> Regular Board Meeting Minutes <br /> 1341 Diane Ave., Belleville 'W153508 <br /> Tuesday, August 4, 2015, 8:00 p.m. <br /> Meeting was called to order by Chair Roger Hodel at 8:00 p.m. <br /> Clerk stated for the record that notice had been posted according to Open Meeting Laws. <br /> Present: Chair Roger Hodel, Supervisors Dan Palmer and Randy Francois, Clerk Julie Bigler <br /> and Treasurer Jody Gerner had an excused absence. <br /> Others Present: Belleville Library Director Bronna Lehman, Bill Warner, Bill Pauli and Land <br /> Use Chair Tim Schmitt <br /> Motion made by Dan Palmer, seconded by Randy Francois and made unanimous by <br /> Roger Hodel to approve July 7, 2015 Regular Board Meeting minutes as read. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> Announcements: The Town extends condolences to the family of Marilyn Argue. The Sugar <br /> River Senior Center will have a Open House on August 7th and a Ice Cream Social on August <br /> 28th at 1:00 p.m. Roger Hodel received and signed a fireworks permit for the Belleville <br /> Community Picnic and also received the Certificate of Liability Insurance. Fire Chief Ron <br /> Babler will have New Glarus bring in their combination vehicle, possibly by the end of August, <br /> for the Fire Association to look at. The fire department is looking at purchasing a combination <br /> vehicle. Donna Anderson, from the Village of Belleville, called Roger Hodel regarding the <br /> Boundary Agreement. Bill Warner will call Donna back, and possibly Terry Kringle, to find <br /> out more information. <br /> Tim Schmitt reported on the Knight CUP 2015-02324. Mr. Knight wants to have a CUP for a <br /> new residence. He has a aquaponics business. The double wide trailer is used for refrigeration. <br /> The old house is used for office and staff The current driveway goes under the train trellis and <br /> is only 10 feet high. The Land Use Committee recommended approval providing the new <br /> driveway meets the towns driveway standards. Deb Brucaya and Tim Schmitt met with Mike <br /> Knight to survey the land. Dane County may require a erosion and storm water study be done. <br /> Mr. Knight has submitted a plan which includes the location of a new storm basin. He may also <br /> tear down two hog sheds to reduce the size of the storm water basin. <br /> Robin Mittenthal would like to rezone property off of Remy Road from RH-2 to A-B. This will <br /> be on the September agenda. Becky Olson Haak has also contacted Tim regarding a home she <br /> wants to purchase. Tim received another call regarding rezoning Totally Wired in Paoli from <br /> business to residential. This item was discussed at the June 2nd board meeting. The board <br />
