FROM : JOHNSON AND JOHNSON PHONE NO. : 6088737521 Nov. 02 1998 12:20PM P2
Helen Johnson, page 2
sent it back to the Towr for reconsideration. At that point, the Town Chairman, Ken Schuck,
wrote to Milwaukee Repeater and suggested they develop a new easement before constructing
the new tower, so that the access issue would be moot (I conveyed this letter and explanation to
you at the public hearin,;on Petition#7271). Milwaukee Repeater then, before the Town Board,
said they were really in a hurry to build the new tower and that they would, in consideration of
immediate rezone apprc val., develop a new access within the year following CUP approval, and
cease vehicular traffic over the old access. I believe the Town agreed to this only because I
agreed to it, allowing th tower construction traffic to pass over my property(not all of which
would have been legally allowed by the old easement conditions.)
Thank you for again reviewing these points. I continue to believe that the access demands of that
tower exceed the intend:d and understood"burden" on the old easement, and that requiring a
supplemental access is reasonable governmental requirement. I also believe that an alternative
easement, particularly die primary one offered to Milwaukee Repeater, is far better for the Town
and especially the immediate neighborhood. _ I perceived that the County agreed to the condition
because they recognizes it as a voluntary agreement between the primary parties. It was not an
effort of the County to i npose its will.
Please share this inform tion with the other members of the Zoning Committee if you think it
would he helpful. As always, do not hesitate to contact me if you have any questions.
Sincere ',
/ ' /41'4
di
Stephen W. Grohmann
cc: Ken Schuck, Pleasant Springs Town Chairman
