IT WAS UNDERSTOOD THAT THERE WOULD BE ADDITIONAL <br /> CHARGES FOR THE STIPULATION THAT THE GARAGE BE SAVED <br /> 9-29-98 CALLED MARY AT TOWN OF DUNN. SHE STATED DENNIS DENNIS HAD CALLED IN THE ELECTRIC DISCONNECT <br /> TO WPL RATHER THAN STOUGHTON ELECTRIC. HE WAS TO CALL SEAN O'GRADY. WE CALLED DICK AND HE <br /> SAID WE SHOULD TRY TO CALL STOUGHTON ELECTRIC AT 7:30 THE NEXT DAY AS THEY WERE COMING TO <br /> TEAR DOWN THE HOUSE. <br /> 9-30-98 DEMOLITION OF EXISTING FARM HOUSE (LEAVING THE EXISTING GARAGE) AT 4371 SCHNEIDER DRIVE <br /> OREGON BY MANDT SAND st GRAVEL/EXCAVATING. <br /> 10-7-98 MET WITH DICK MARTINSON HE EXPLAINED THE INSURANCE REQUREMENT (CONTRACTOR'S MULTIPLE <br /> PERIL INSURANCE) <br /> 10-8-98 DICK MARTINSON OBTAINED A BUILDING PERMIT FROM DANE COUNTY ZONING. <br /> 10-8-98 RALPH CONTACTED JERRY HACKBART OF AMERICAN FAMILY INSURANCE AND JIM HAGSTROM OF <br /> HAGSTROM INSURANCE FOR ESTIMATE ON CONTRACTOR'S MULTIPLE PERIL INSURANCE <br /> 10-12-98 OBTAINED CONTRACTOR'S MULTIPLE PERIL INSURANCE FROM HAGSTROM INSURANCE. <br /> 10-22-98 RECEIVED PHONE CALL FROM BUILDER, DICK MARTINSON, STATING THAT HE HAD GOTTEN A CALL FROM <br /> DANE COUNTY ZONING STATING THEY WERE RED FLAGGING THE BUILDING PROJECT BECAUSE NOW THEY <br /> ARE SAYING WE DO HAVE TO RE-ZONE. HE ASKED WHY AND THEY SAID WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN IT <br /> IN WRITING THAT WE DID NOT HAVE TO RE-ZONE IF WE BUILT ONTO THE EXISTING GARAGE. HE <br /> EXPLAINED TO THEM THAT WE HAD MADE NUMEROUS CONTACTS WITH ZONING AND HE HAD MADE <br /> A TRIP UP THERE TO CLARIFY THAT WE DID NOT HAVE TO RE-ZONE IF WE BUILT ONTO THE EXISTING <br /> GARAGE. HE HAD THE BUILDING PERMIT WITH HIM AND ASKED IF "THAT WERE NOT IN WRITING" THAT WE <br /> COULD BUILD THE HOUSE. <br /> 10-22-98 I CALLED HELEN JOHNSON 873-7521 (CHAIRMAN OF ZONING AND NATURAL RESOURCES COMMITTEE) <br /> TO ASK HER ADVICE. SHE STATED I SHOULD CALL JIM GREGORIUS - ZONING ADMINISTRATOR 266-9083. <br /> AT 10-30 A.M. I CALLED JIM GREGORIUS AND LEFT A DETAILED VOICE MAIL ASKING FOR CLARIFICATION <br /> OF THE SITUATION AND EXPLAINING THAT WE HAD CAREFULLY FOLLOWED THE ADVICE FROM DANE <br /> COUNTY ZONING AND WERE NOT TRYING TO "PULL ANYTHING"AND WOULD APPRECIATE A PHONE CALL <br /> FROM HIM. (HE NEVER CALLED BACK) <br /> 10-23-98 BUILDER, DICK MARTINSON, WENT UP TO THE COUNTY AND ASKED WHAT WAS GOING ON. THEY ARE <br /> SAYING AGAIN THAT WE SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN SOMETHING IN WRITING. THEY SAID IT SHOULDN'T HAVE <br /> BEEN APPROVED IN THE FIRST PLACE. APPARENTLY THERE IS A0POWER STRUGGLE BETWEEN THREE PEOPLE <br /> AT THE ZONING DEPARTMENT. DICK SAID THAT WAS AN "INTERNAL PROBLEM"AND WE SHOULDN'T BE <br /> CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE. <br /> ZONING AGREED TO RE-INSTATE THE PERMIT PROVIDING WE RE-ZONE. WE NEED TO GET A LETTER FROM <br /> TOWN OF DUNN OF NON-OBJECTION. (WE ALREADY HAVE THAT). WE WILL NOT HAVE TO GET A CERTIFIED <br /> SURVEY DONE BUT WILL HAVE TO GO THROUGH THE ZONING PROCESS. (1) TOWN OF DUNN (2) COUNTY <br /> (3) THREE MEETINGS (3 MONTHS) TOTAL PLUS A $165 ZONING PERMIT. <br /> NOVEMBER 9, 1998 TOWN OF DUNN - PLANNING <br /> NOVEMBER 17 TOWN OF DUNN - TOWN BOARD <br /> DECEMBER 15 PUBLIC HEARING - ZONING MEETING <br /> JANUARY 12, 1999 WORK MEETING <br /> 10-25-98 MET WITH DICK MARTINSON. HE SHOWED US A LETTER HE WAS SENDING TO THE ZONING DEPARTMENT <br /> STATING THAT THEY HAD AGREED TO WORK WITH HIM WITH THE ZONING PROCESS IF WE CONTINUED TO <br /> BUILD. I STATED THAT I WANTED SOMETHING IN WRITING FROM THE ZONING DEPARTMENT SAYING THAT <br /> THEY WOULD WORK WITH US FOR GETTING THE RE-ZONE DONE. <br /> 10-29-98 PHONE CALL FROM DICK MARTINSON. HE HAD RECEIVED A PHONE CALL FROM TERRY FROM UNITED BRICK <br /> AND SHE SAID SHE HAD THE BRICK WE WANTED OVER THERE. THEY ARE $569 PER THOUSAND AND THE <br /> COMPANY WOULD CHARGE $60 PER THOUSAND EXTRA IF THEY WERE TO DO THE "BLENDING". HE FIGURES <br /> WE NEED ABOUT 13,000 BRICK. MASON HE RECOMMENDED IS BILL FOSS. THIS PERSON LAID THE BRICK FOR <br /> HAAKS BAR AND JOEL BERG. <br /> I ASKED HIM ABOUT LETTER FROM ZONING WORKING WITH US FOR THE RE-ZONE. HE STATED HE HAD <br /> CALLED STEVE REYNOLDS AND HE HADN'T HEARD BACK FROM HIM YET. HE WILL WORK ON THAT SOME <br /> MORE TODAY. <br /> 11-2-98 FOOTINGS WERE POURED <br />
