Merlis plans to sell the RH-1 lots to unrelated parties for
SFR/farmette use, and retain the RH-2 lot for himself
REGIONAL PLANNING
Petition 7413. This proposed rural residential division is subject to the following adopted town/county
policy:
"Non-farm residential development by certified survey in those areas with soils not
classified as prime farmland at a density of one lot per 35 contiguous acres owned,
with a minimum lot size of two acres, will be considered for rezoning."
The previous RH-3 rezoning exceeded the allowable density of lots. This proposal is inconsistent with
adopted policies.
Agricultural land is not the issue, but the amount of development is.
If more development is desired at this location, the plan needs to be amended to reflect what type of
development is intended.
At the present time the adopted town/county plan does not allow for additional residential development
at this site.
ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH (septic, etc.)
The existing private sewage system must remain on the same parcel with the dwelling it serves.
DANE COUNTY HIGHWAY
None
OTHER
